HYPEX recently tweeted that the next Fortnite season may include a “collaboration” with Akira. Their evidence is a single shot in the official video, which can be seen at the 52-second point. The figure in it is riding a bike in the new cyberpunk metropolis and strikes the same attitude as the protagonist in the classic film. There’s a good likelihood that HYPEX is true, as even Epic Games’ Chief Creative Officer, Donald Mustard, has said.
