Despite their strong position, Newey acknowledged the possibility that their emphasis on the 2024 season might hinder their quest for further historical achievements. When asked if focusing on 2024 could make them vulnerable, Newey responded, “possibly.”
“Most teams now are probably well into next year’s [development],” Newey told Motorsport.com. He further elaborated on Red Bull’s strategy, stating, “For us, obviously we’re now tending to switch our focus to next year.”
