Microsoft Edge may just be getting this much admired Windows 11 feature

If you are someone who is an avid user of the Microsoft Edge browser, this news is definitely going to put a smile on your face. There is a feature in Windows 11, where the user can opt to get the next software update ASAP. What this means is that, whenever Windows 11 gets an update, there is usually an update timeline, and users are seeded the update as per the schedule. However, with this feature enabled, you are elevated to the top of the waitlist, and irrespective of the release schedule, you are given the update first, which means, you get access to all the new feature before everyone else.

Now, as per reliable sources, it seems that the early build of the next version of Microsoft Edge has been given this feature. It has not been enabled by default, but can be toggled on if desired. There are some beta testers who have not yet seen this feature in their beta builds, but that is to be expected as Microsoft will not want to push this feature to everyone just yet.

However, this feature, while exciting, does come with a warning. Usually, when there is a new software update, be it for an app or an operating system, there are bugs or unresponsive elements. If you go for the update ASAP, there is a chance that you may see some of these bugs and also face some crashes.

Would you be interested in getting updates before everyone else, or would you prefer waiting for them to fix all bugs before getting the upgrade in? Let us know in the comments section below.
