The Android mobile operating system has come a long way in the past decade, with features and functionalities only getting better and more user friendly. The design has gone through periodic updates and today, the latest flavor of Android is also by far their best iteration. One of the features that have received a much-needed upgrade is the Wifi connectivity platform. Connecting to a Wifi network is as easy as tapping a button (literally), but it is also very simple to now find the Wifi Password for the networks you have already connected to. This is very useful when you have to reset your smartphone and while reconnecting to the Wifi network, you need to enter the password.
In this tutorial, we will show you how to find the Wifi password on Android.
Step 1. Open the ‘Settings‘ app on your Android smartphone.
Step 2. Tap on the ‘Network and Internet‘ option from the settings menu.
Step 3. Tap on the ‘WiFi‘ options from the Network and Internet options.
Step 4. Tap on the ‘Saved Networks‘ option from the next window.
Step 5. Tap on the network whose password you want to check.
Step 6. Tap on the ‘Share‘ button and then verify your identity via the security passcode.
Step 7. You will now see a QR code that you can share with your trusted contacts. The Wifi password will be right under the QR code.
You can now write down this password and save it in a safe location either offline or on your device.
Please ensure you don’t share your WiFi password with contacts you don’t trust. This will put you at risk of problems down the line. Stay safe and alert on the internet.
