2023 Toyota Hilux GR Sport II Unveiled with Enhanced Off-Road Abilities and Sporty Upgrades

Toyota's Popular Hilux Pickup Receives the GR Sport Treatment for the Second Time in the UK, Featuring Off-Road Improvements and Sporty Aesthetics

To distinguish it from standard Hilux models, the GR Sport II receives a mesh grille, red brake calipers, and various dark accents. The sporty theme extends to the interior, with GR logos on the front headrests and red seatbelts. Standard equipment includes an eight-inch infotainment system with built-in navigation, as well as both wired and wireless support for Apple CarPlay. Android Auto is available through a wired connection.

Under the hood, there are no changes as the Hilux GR Sport II continues to be powered by the 2.8-liter turbodiesel engine, delivering 201 bhp and 369 pound-feet (500 Newton-metres) of torque through a six-speed automatic transmission. In select markets, Toyota offers a more potent Hilux GR Sport with 221 bhp and 406 lb-ft (550 Nm) of torque.
