Wi-Fi 6E support will be available on the iPhone 15 similar to the new Macbook Pro

In addition to the brand new M2 Pro and M2 Max CPUs, Apple’s freshly introduced 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros have another exciting enhancement. The laptops have a Wi-Fi 6E connection, the most current Wi-Fi standard that allows for an additional wireless band and increases online speeds. According to a recent Barclays review, the iPhone 15 collection must also support Wi-Fi 6E.
This isn’t the first time we’ve heard rumours that Wi-Fi 6E might be coming to the iPhone. It happened with the iPhone 14 more than a year ago, but the gadget never received the performance.

On the other hand, the iPhone 15 Wi-Fi 6E upgrade makes more sense this year, as Apple prepares to introduce its first-generation mixed-reality headset. Apple’s AR/VR headset should support Wi-Fi 6E, and the Wi-Fi standard is anticipated to be a crucial component in Apple’s ecosystem.

Wi-Fi should play a significant role in the whole experience, even if Apple hasn’t yet explained how the mixed reality headgear will function. It’s not only about connecting to the internet to enjoy VR applications. It’s also about blasting data to the Mac, iPhone, iPad and back via Wi-Fi. Or a bespoke Wi-Fi information switch standard that can utilise Wi-Fi 6E.

Speculation aside, there’s no way to confirm this iPhone 15 upgrade, regardless of how much sense Wi-Fi 6E support makes. However, according to Barclays analysts Blayne Curtis and Tom O’Malley, iPhones 2023 will have faster Wi-Fi. However, the experts did not specify which iPhone 15 models would support Wi-Fi 6E, despite the fact that the iPhone 14 established a fresh new method of selling iPhones.

Apple is now more distinct than ever between non-Pro models and Pros. The iPhone 15 might increase since the iPhone 15 Pro Max (Ultra) will provide more benefits than the iPhone 15 Pro.

Besides the recently introduced 2023 Mac mini, only Pro products support the Wi-Fi 6E standard. They were released recently, along with the 11-inch and 12.9-inch 2022 iPad Pros and the 14-inch and 16-inch 2023 MacBook Pros.

That is another reason to believe that the iPhone 15 will be the first collection to have a Wi-Fi 6E connection. That’s because, in the end, all Apple products should support Wi-Fi 6E.

However, Wi-Fi 6E support is insufficient for faster internet, lower latency, and less signal interference. You’ll also need a critical system at home or in business, such as a relatively modern router that supports Wi-Fi 6E.

Last but not least, customers of Apple who own Wi-Fi 6E “hardware,” such as a brand new iPad or MacBook, should consult this support document, which details how to correctly instal Wi-Fi 6E routers to take advantage of the latest Wi-Fi standard.
