The Ironwood series also boasts Traeger’s EZ-Clean grease and ash keg, which conveniently sends liquid run-off and pellet debris to one place for easy removal and cleaning. The pellet hopper can also be easily cleaned out from the front, allowing for easy switching between different pellet varieties.
While the Timberline model has more premium features, including an enclosed cabinet, casters, and an induction burner, the Ironwood keeps the traditional four-leg base that Traeger grills are known for. The Ironwood features the ModiFire system of accessories, which can be snapped on using the “Pop-And-Lock (PAL)” rail, allowing for personalized positioning of shelves, storage bins, tool hooks, and more.
