This is how you can edit or unsend messages on iOS 16

To edit the message

Step 1. Long press the message you want to edit.

Step 2. From the drop-down menu that appears, tap on the edit option.

Step 3. To send the correction, edit your message and press the checkmark to the right of the message. (Alternatively, if you’ve changed your mind about modifying the text, hit the “x” to the left of the message.)
