The newest Twitter experiment allows users to view NFT marketplace listings

Twitter, like Facebook and Instagram, may eventually implement NFT integration. The website, which is now controlled by Elon Musk, has introduced an experimental feature that prominently shows NFT items when users tweet a link to them, as long as they are from one of its partner markets. The company’s NFT Tweet Tile displays a huge snapshot of the digital artwork, as well as its title and author. It also has a button that directs readers to the marketplace listing where they may buy or sell their own items.

Twitter now has four partners: Rarible, a multi-chain NFT marketplace, Magic Eden, a Solana-and-Etherium-focused marketplace, Dapper Labs (the developer behind Top Shot), and Jump.trade, a digital cricket collectibles store. Twitter stated in its release that “some” links from those four will appear as NFT Tweet Tiles for individuals chosen to participate in the test. According to Decrypt, the markets encompass a variety of blockchain networks, including Flow, Polygon, and Tezos.

According to the magazine, the connection is being tested “with select Twitter users across iOS and web,” and it is not limited to Blue paying customers. Twitter previously provided paying customers with access to another experimental tool that allowed them to link their cryptocurrency wallets to their accounts. They will then be allowed to use an NFT as their profile photo, which will display an emblem showing that they are the official owner of the digital artwork.
