Twitter is ready to feed your ego if you take pride in people bookmarking your social media posts. The social network’s iOS app now includes a bookmark counter. You’ll know how many people saved a specific tweet for later reference, similar to the counts for likes, quotes, and retweets. The company has not stated when the feature will be available for Android or the web.
Twitter emphasises that bookmarks remain private. Users will know if their tweets are popular, but they will not know who bookmarked a specific post.
We love Bookmarks for saving Tweets to revisit later. Starting today on iOS, you’ll now see the total number of times a Tweet has been bookmarked on Tweet details.

Of course, this counter isn’t just for bragging rights. If you’re a creator or manage a company’s Twitter account, the tally could indicate whether or not your posts are useful to your followers. This, in turn, may assist you in refining content to reach a larger audience.
The addition follows a slew of updates to Twitter, including notifications about community misinformation notes. However, recent concerns about a string of outages and a paywall for text-based two-factor authentication have dominated the service. Regardless of how useful the bookmark counter is, it will not receive the attention it once did.
