We stated in November 2022 that the E-Ray would almost probably couple the tried-and-true 6.2-liter LT2 V8 with an electronic powertrain on the front axle. This indicates that the main hybrid Corvette might also be the primary all-wheel drive Corvette. There are also studies of further hybrid variations in the works, which may result in a Vette with more than 1,000 horsepower.
