TCL offers a few new phone models for the US market, including the 40 XE 5G, 40 X 5G, and 40 XL with 4G connection. According to the business, the $169 40 XE 5G is the lowest-cost 5G TCL phone to date. It boasts a 6.56-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling. A 13MP primary camera and 2MP depth and macro sensors are included in the back camera array. There is an 8MP lens on the front. The phone boasts a quad-core 2.2GHz CPU and 4GB of Memory. There is only 64GB of storage, however, it can be expanded to 1TB through microSD.
The 40 XE 5G, like the 40 X 5G, will be released in June, with identical features but a more sophisticated 50MP primary camera. The price of this model begins at $199. Meanwhile, the 4G-only 40 XL sports a 6.75″ HD+ display, twin speakers, and a 50MP primary camera. There’s an octa-core CPU and 128GB of storage as standard. An Android 13 phone will be available in May for $149.
