Microsoft has officially made the Windows 11 25H2 update available for all compatible PCs. Originally released in late 2025, the update is now considered ready for wide deployment, and Microsoft has begun an AI-based "intelligent rollout" to automatically deliver the software to Home and Pro users over the coming months.
Reports suggest Microsoft may release two big Windows 11 updates in 2026. The first, expected early in the year, could be exclusive to new Snapdragon X2 Elite laptops, with a wider rollout later under version 26H2.
Microsoft’s Copilot app on Windows 11 now looks a lot more like the Start menu, offering panels for files, tasks, and app guidance—signaling a deeper AI integration that could shape Windows 12’s interface.
