Fujifilm has launched the LTO Ultrium 10 40TB data cartridge, a magnetic tape storage solution that offers 40TB of uncompressed capacity and up to 100TB with compression. The new media utilizes aramid film technology and fine hybrid magnetic particles to achieve a 33 percent increase in storage density over the previous 30TB LTO-10 model.
