Starting with next year’s soccer game, EA will drop the FIFA branding

Despite the moniker change, it appears that much of the DNA of FIFA games will remain unchanged. “Everything you love about our games will be included in EA Sports FC – the same fantastic experiences, modes, leagues, tournaments, clubs, and athletes,” EA’s Cam Weber said in a blog post. “There will include Ultimate Team, Career Mode, Pro Clubs, and Volta Football.” Our unique license portfolio of over 19,000+ players, 700+ teams, 100+ stadiums, and 30 leagues, which we’ve continued to invest in for decades, will be present in EA Sports FC. This includes exclusive collaborations with the Premier League, LaLiga, Bundesliga, Serie A, and the MLS, among others.”
