Currently, if a company uses Square to process sales, it must utilize Square’s well-known dongle to receive payments. With compatibility with Apple’s Tap to Pay, it should be able to process a significant portion of payments using only an iPhone and the Square app. The new program will let iPhone users pay with their phones within Square’s POS app.
