On May 20th, the third “volume” of Netflix’s science fiction anthology series Love, Death, and Robots will premiere. The firm announced the release with a short film on Monday, but don’t be deceived by the early footage of The Crown and The Queen’s Gambit. When it launched Volume 2 almost exactly one year ago, the streaming service hinted that a third volume was on the way, but only cited a vague “2022” release date.
Netflix did not say how many episodes would be featured in the upcoming season in the video. Volume 1 featured 18 episodes, Volume 2 had eight, and the third volume, according to sources, will also include eight episodes.
