OnePlus 11 Concept Phone Boasts Innovative PC-Level Liquid Cooling System

After a series of teases, OnePlus has debuted its next experimental phone, with more practical features than in the past. The OnePlus 11 Concept is built on “Active CryoFlux” liquid cooling, which is similar to that seen in certain gaming Computers. The method employs a piezoelectric ceramic micropump to circulate cooling fluid via pipes inside the phone (visible from the outside) while without “substantially” increasing the phone’s size.

According to OnePlus, the result is a tiny but noticeable performance boost. According to the business, the temperature decrease improves games by up to three to four frames per second and shortens charging periods by 30 to 45 seconds. Such stats won’t have you racing out to replace your current phone, but they may help you get the most out of an upgrade.

After that, the changes between the OnePlus 11 and the normal OnePlus 11 are primarily aesthetic. The most noticeable alterations are the visible pipes and blue LED lights, but there’s also a camera hump with exquisite guilloché etching akin to what you’d see on the face of a fine watch.

The OnePlus 11 Concept will not be produced. Yet, it is not unexpected that liquid cooling and design approaches will make their way into future phones. Obviously, it won’t equal the sheer cooling power seen in high-end gaming phones, but it may make OnePlus more appealing if you want above-average performance without dragging around a brick.
