OnePlus 11 Concept: A Stunning Smartphone with a Flowing Back and Blue Lighting

Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus is set to unveil its new phone, the OnePlus 11 Concept, at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2023 in Barcelona on February 27th. The company’s new device is designed to appeal to gamers with its use of LED lighting, creating a unique and eye-catching design. The phone features a “flowing back” with meandering stream-type LED lighting pattern, as well as a ring around the camera module and a unibody glass design.

The OnePlus 11 is already known for its gaming capabilities, boasting a 120Hz display, extremely fast 100W charging, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. However, the company is taking things a step further with the OnePlus 11 Concept, adopting a gaming PC-type approach with the use of LED lighting.

This is not the first time OnePlus has experimented with special edition phones, having released Star Wars and Pac-Man themed devices in the past. However, the OnePlus 11 Concept marks the company’s first foray into external LED lighting, taking inspiration from the Nothing Phone 1’s transparent, light-up back and the OnePlus 8T concept’s color-changing back.

The company says the LED lighting is designed to highlight the engineering breakthroughs of the OnePlus 11 Concept, featuring icy blue pipelines that run through the entire back of the phone, resembling a series of blood vessels. It remains unclear whether the device is a one-off concept product or a special edition phone that will go on sale.

Details about the phone, including its pricing and availability, are expected to be announced at the MWC unveiling. The event will be held on February 27th at 3 PM ET, where OnePlus will showcase its new device to the world.
