Nvidia could be staring at another flop in the the RTX 4080 Super Graphics card

First thing to note is that the RTX 4080 Super will be using the AD103 chip as opposed to the AD102 chip as they have abandoned plans to repurpose those chips for some reason. Now, the AD103 chip we are talking about, can only go as far as the full load out of the GPU. What this means is that you end up with a 5% boost in CUDA core boost. AD 103 also does not support VRAM boost. Also, there is not much scope for a HUGE increase in cock speed, which means, the RTX 4080 Super is not really an upgrade on the existing RTX 4080.

The only way Nvidia can make this work, is if they offer these RTX 4080 Super GPUs at an attractive price, which apparently is what the company is considering. If they don’t, it looks like the graphics giant will be taking yet another L.
