Microsoft to debut Windows 11 Laptops with Copilot Keyboard keys at CES 2024

CES 2024 is being touted as the event of AI, with most companies set to unveil their newest product offerings with built-in AI technology. Microsoft, which has been making wanes in the AI market with Copilot, has made a big announcement that will surely take its AI innovation to the next level. According to the announcement, the tech giant will be bringing new Windows 11 laptops to the CES 2024 event, and the most notable feature will be a dedicated Copilot keyboard key.

If this is true, then it will be the first time in almost three decades that we will all see a change to the keyboard, and will also be a defining moment in the company’s history. As far as the button itself is concerned, much like how the Windows key on the keyboard pulls up the start menu, the Copilot key will instantly pull up the Copilot. When Microsoft was asked to comment on the same, they were very excited to reveal this addition to the world and said that the “Copilot key is another transformative moment in our journey with Windows where Copilot will be the entry point into the world of AI on the PC.”

While the laptops with the Copilot key will be unveiled at the upcoming CES 2024 event, we will get to see these devices hit the market in Spring, with Surfaces devices to follow. Personally, we think that the introduction of the Copilot key on Windows laptops will become a market standard with all OEMs adopting it into their devices at their own pace, but as far as Microsoft is concerned, we expect to see them go all-in on their Copilot platform and make it the backbone of their product lineup going forward.
