Microsoft Outlook Removes Attachment Size Limit by Integrating with OneDrive

This update comes as a valuable addition for users of the free version of Microsoft Outlook who may have encountered challenges following a change to the platform’s storage arrangements earlier this year. Since February 2023, Microsoft has been implementing a change that affects free users, as attachments are now stored within OneDrive, which offers a smaller free storage capacity of 5GB compared to the free 15GB allowance previously offered by Outlook.

As a result of this storage migration, many users have experienced disruptions in their email service, as their backlog of attachments suddenly exceeded capacity, rendering them unable to send or receive new emails. The integration with OneDrive aims to resolve this issue and provide a more seamless and efficient experience for all users.
