Microsoft is emboldening it’s cloud services with AI Cybersecurity

When it comes to advancements in AI technology, Microsoft seems to be one of the leaders, and now, it looks like they are going to change things up by introducing AI into cybersecurity. The tech giant has noted that the news headlines these days are rife with news about industrial disruptions, hacks, data breaches, and more. They believe that in order to truly progress, cyber threats must be nipped in the bud.

At the moment, cybersecurity is handled by humans, who use top notch software to detect and act on threats. However, the rate at which cyber threats are developing, there must an upgrade on the human element, and in this case, Microsoft believes it could just be AI.

Microsoft’s cloud services are widely used in all sorts of industries, and they believe that by introducing AI elements in the security of these services, they can truly give their users a more secure experience. They have also decided to use memory safe languages such as C#, Python, Java, and Rust, which will create a safer environment right down to the basics.

Vice Chairman and Head of Microsoft, Brad Smith cited Ukraine’s advancement in cybersecurity and noted that AI has definitely proved to be a potent weapon in their arsenal, as they are dealing a lot better with cyber threats, and are also in a position to preempt attacks and respond well before time.

Microsoft has started things off by releasing their AI Copilot to general users, and it seems to us that the Copilot platform will be the foundation for all their AI innovations going forward.
