Mercedes-Benz Unleashes the 2024 GLC Coupe with a Starting Price of $58,150

Revamped Model Offers More Space and Upgraded Features

Mercedes-Benz introduced the 2024 GLC Coupe back in March, creating excitement among automotive enthusiasts. However, the German automaker kept details about its market launch and pricing under wraps at the time. Now, more than seven months after its official debut, we finally have the information we’ve been eagerly waiting for, and the good news is that you can now place your order.

The fully revamped model is available with a starting price of $58,150, which includes destination and handling fees. The first batch of these stylish crossovers is set to grace the showrooms across the United States in late fall this year, signifying that customer deliveries are on the horizon, likely before 2023 comes to a close. It’s worth noting that the new GLC Coupe commands a premium of $2,300 over the outgoing model.

Back in March, when the new GLC Coupe was revealed, Mercedes had announced that the AMG Line would be included as part of the standard equipment. Now, that promise is fulfilled. The AMG Line package can be added for an extra $2,850, raising the model’s base price to $61,000, inclusive of destination charges. This package enhances the vehicle with features such as AMG-specific wheels, perforated brake discs, and wheel arches painted in the body color. However, Mercedes currently has no plans to offer the new GLC Coupe without this package, at least for “initial market deliveries.”

The full name of the crossover available in the United States is the GLC 300 4MATIC Coupe. Under the hood, you’ll find a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine, paired with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system, delivering a robust 255 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. A smooth nine-speed automatic transmission channels this power to all four wheels.

Compared to the 2023 GLC Coupe, the 2024 model year offers improved practicality. The cargo space now boasts a volume of 19.2 cubic feet with all five seats in place, an increase of 1.6 cubic feet from the previous iteration. Fold down the second row of seats, and you’ll have a generous 52.6 cubic feet of trunk space, a boost of 3.1 cubic feet over the 2023 model.

Last but not least, the interior has received a remarkable makeover. The 2024 GLC Coupe features a 12.3-inch instrument cluster for the driver, along with an 11.9-inch center portrait display for infotainment functions. Opt for the Pinnacle Trim, available for an additional $2,950 on top of the base price, and you’ll enjoy added luxuries like a Burmester audio system, a head-up display, heat and noise insulated windows, and augmented video navigation. This revamped model promises to offer a splendid blend of style, performance, and technological sophistication.
