In terms of picture quality, the Brio 500 is a 1080p webcam that must be reduced to 720p if you want 60fps rather than 30fps. Although it seems to be the same as the C920, Logitech representative Wendy Spander confirmed that it is indeed, a brand new sensor, which should result in higher picture quality. The webcam’s field of view is 90 degrees, but it may be digitally cropped to 78 or 60 degrees for a closer look. Logitech claims that it can automatically position the camera on the person speaking and adjust illumination in dark or backlit environments.
