Unlike traditional car seats made of plastic and styrofoam, the Babyark is constructed of anticrash materials and features a shock-absorbing SafeCoil that absorbs forward momentum in the event of a crash. In the unfortunate event of an accident, a set of internet of things (IoT) sensors will record the crash telemetry and send it to first responders to help them more quickly and effectively treat the child. The seat also includes an app for both Android and iOS that reminds forgetful parents if they leave their child behind in the car, and the seat itself will not engage with its base unit if it is improperly seated, indicated by a red LED light ring that turns green once everything is correctly set.
