One of the most popular ways of showing your reactions to a certain message or post is GIFs. While the debate over how this word is pronounced rages on, it’s a universal truth that GIFs give you a bit more punch compared to the regular emojis.
For those of you who don’t know, GIFs are basically short videos (hardly 5s seconds long), set on permanent repeat. These videos can hold a particularly funny moment in a movie, or even a random event that gets a reaction from people. The best part is that you can now send GIFs directly from the keyboard on your Android smartphone.
In this tutorial, we will show you how to send GIFs on Android.
Table of Contents
Open any text entry field or messaging app.
Activate the keyboard on the app.
Tap on the GIF option at the top of the keyboard.
You will now see all the available GIFs.
Pick the GIF from the onscreen options or use the search bar to look for a particular GIF.
Tap on the ‘Send’ button to send the GIF to your contact.
Make sure you are careful with your choice of GIFs. Be polite in your chats and make good use of the GIF feature.
