Step 2. Head to Gmail and then sign into your account using the credentials.

Step 3. Click on you profile icon on the top right hand side of the window. You will be greeted by a drop down menu.

Step 4. From the drop down menu that appears, click on the ‘Manage your Google Account’.

Step 5. Now, in your Google Account settings, click on the ‘Security’ option on the left hand side pane.

Step 6. Scroll down the list until you see the ‘Your connections to third-party apps & services’ option.

Step 7. You will now see a list of websites that use your Gmail credentials. Scroll through the list till you see the website that you no longer want to be associated with.

Step 8. Click on the name of the website and you will be taken to a new window.

Step 9. Click on the button that says ‘Delete all connections you have to ___’.

Your Gmail account will now be dissociated with the website and if there is an unfortunate data breach on the same, your credentials will not be at risk. Make sure that you check these settings at least once a month as there may be some websites that you no longer find useful, and it is always good to delink your credentials from such platforms.
