How to recover recently deleted photos on iOS

The iPhone is truly a great camera smartphone and the quality that the lineup has given us all these years has made it one of the go-to devices for mobile photography. However, one of the glaring limitations of the iPhone is the lack of expandable memory, something that is a prominent feature in most Android devices even today. The lack of expandable storage makes it difficult to accommodate photos and videos beyond a point, and the only way to clear up memory for future photos and videos is to delete existing media.

Now, if you happen to delete some of your photos and videos, and then realise that you want them restored in your gallery, there is a way to do it, and that is what we are going to show you today. However, there are two things you need to have before restoring your deleted media –

  1. Vacant storage to accommodate the restored media.
  2. The media should not have been in the trash for more than 30 days.

If both these conditions are met, you can proceed with the tutorial –

Step 1. Open the Gallery app on your iPhone.

The photos and videos will be restored to your main gallery.

We just want to re-iterate that photos and videos that you delete will be in your Recently Deleted folder for a period of 30 days, after which, they will be permanently deleted and there will be no wayy to get them back.
