How to generate AI Artwork for free using Microsoft Copilot

These days, creating AI Artwork is trending all over the world, and people, who are not even artists, are making use of this technology to create some awe-inspiring images that come straight out of the imagination. There are many AI Art generators out there, with Midjourney being one of the best in class. However, these generators usually come with a subscription plan, and that could put a few people off. Thankfully, Microsoft Copilot has made it possible to generate AI Artwork for absolutely no cost, and in this tutorial, we are going to show you exactly how to do it.

Step 3. On the Bing home page, log in with your Microsoft Account. If you do not have one, you can quickly create one, or use one of the existing login options.

Step 4. Once you sign in, click on the ‘Copilot’ button.

Step 5. You will now be taken to the Copilot chatbot. It may interest you to know that the chatbot is powered by GPT-4. So, if you have been wondering how to use OpenAI’s GPT-4 for free, this is one of the best ways.

Step 6. On the chatbot window, click on the ‘More Creative’ option under the conversation style tab.

Step 7. In the chat window, start off with ‘Make me the following image’, or ‘Make me an image of’, followed by your prompt. Make sure you describe the image you have in mind, in as much detail as possible. Mind you, the prompt can be long or short, it is totally up to you and your imagination. Once you are happy with your prompt, click on enter to send the message to the chatbot.

Step 8. In a few seconds, you will be presented with 2-4 images that closely resemble your prompt. You can click on each image and even tweak it with pre-installed filters. Once you are satisfied, you can download them into your device and use them for your projects.

The images are generated using DALL-E 3, an image generation model that was introduced by OpenAI. It is very capable and can surprise you with some of its generations. At the same time, it is still a work in progress and sometimes, the generations can appear wonky. That said, you can have some fun generating your imagination, and whenever you generate an image using AI, make sure you mention the same when you share it.

AI images are generated using a database of images that exist across the internet, and there is no saying how many, and whose artwork is being used to create your masterpiece. Be responsible on the internet, and remain ethical in your work.
