Back in the day, stock trading was a meticulous activity that was left in the capable hands of stockbrokers. All you had to do was hand over the amount to the broker, and either instruct him/her to buy a certain stock or leave it to them to make the best judgment call.
However, thanks to digitization, the stock trading activity has now started coming online, and thanks to software like Metatrader, you can make these payments and trade stocks straight from your PC. Now, the only catch with the Metatrader platform is that it is available for Windows Only. If you have a Mac or Macbook, and you want to use the MetaTrader platform on it, then there is a way you can get it done.
In this tutorial, we will show you how to download and run the Metatrader app on your Mac.

Download the PlayOnMac application and locate the installer file on your Mac.
Run the DMG installation file to start the process.
You will see the home page of the installer open up, click on the ‘Next button.
Select the ‘Please Download XQuartz for me’ option.
If you have installed XQuartz on your Mac, you can choose the appropriate option. Let the installation complete and then reboot the Mac.
Once you reboot the system, start the installer again, and you will now have to install the Windows fonts that you need to run the application properly.
Complete the installation and reboot the system one more time.
Once you install the PlayOnMac application on your Mac or Macbook, you can now download the Windows version of the Metatrader app and install it on the app using the PlayOnMac application.
