Step 1. Open the web browser on your computer and head to Facebook.
Step 2. Login using your credentials and you will now see the home page.
Step 3. At the top right-hand side of the home page, click on the ‘arrow button’ icon.
Step 4. From the drop down menu, click on the ‘Settings and Privacy’ option.
Step 5. In the settings window, click on the ‘Settings’ option.
Step 6. In the new settings menu, make sure you are in the General tab on the left hand side pane.
Step 7. In the general tab, click on the ‘Edit’ button next to your name.
You can now change your name according to your wishes, but keep in mind that changes to the name, once confirmed, cannot be edited again for 60 days. So, if you change your name and confirm it, you will not be able to change it back or to something else for the next 60 days. Please think it through and only commit to the change when you have it sorted out.
