Google released the Pixel 6a, a scaled-down version of the Pixel 6, in July for territories like India. Prior to the device’s release, Google worked with iFixit in June to provide authentic repair parts for its Pixel smartphones, including the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro. Google has also promised that authentic Pixel 6a components will be available on iFixit before the end of 2022. Several components, including the original replacements for the Pixel 6a’s display, camera, and battery, are available on iFixit. Aside from that, iFixit offers certain tools like the “Fix Kit” to assist users with self-repairability.

Price and availability of Google Pixel 6a components on iFixit

iFixit’s self-repairing service is only accessible in a few countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, Germany, France, and other EU nations. The official website of iFixit now covers every component of the Pixel 6a, from the screen to the ultra-wide back camera.

Users may either purchase only the broken component that needs to be replaced or purchase the part combined with a Fix Kit, which includes equipment such as glue, iOpener, suction handle, angled tweezers, alcohol pad, and more. This tool set is essential for users who are attempting to fix their devices for the first time.

The most costly authentic Google Pixel 6a component on iFixit is the screen front glass digitiser screen that contains the 6.1-inch OLED display, which costs $99.99. (including the Fix Kit). Buyers may also purchase the component just for $92.99 and the display adhesive separately for $3.99.
