Another interesting little detail in this announcement is that, Qualcomm may be working on a bespoke Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset for the flagship Galaxy S24 series. The idea will be to release the custom chipset first in the Galaxy S24, and then releasing the chipset as a ‘Plus’ variant, to other Android smartphone makers.
