Over 200 speakers are set to take part in AI Journey, an international AI and machine learning conference scheduled to be held in Moscow on December 11–13. One of the key AI events of the year will bring together experts from more than ten countries, including Russia, China, India, the UAE, Brazil, South Africa, Indonesia, Ethiopia, Bahrain, and Iran. The program of the conference will traditionally be split into three blocks: science, business, and society.
Science sessions will feature presentations from international researchers, who will share insights into the latest AI technology. Indian Statistical Institute professor Swagatam Das (winner of The Computer Science Leader in India Award in 2022 and 2023) will make a presentation called “From Complexity to Understanding: Building Comprehensible, Fair and Transparent Artificial Intelligence for the Future”.
Also speaking on Science Day will be Vladimir Spokoiny, Humboldt University professor, head of the Stochastic Algorithms and Nonparametric Statistics Laboratory at Weierstrass Institute, who will talk about the basics of AI methods.
The Business Day will cover some real-life implementation of AI solutions across the economy and the opportunities AI has to offer to enhance the efficiency of enterprises. This track will feature a leading expert from India — managing director and founder of Tech Whisperer Limited, Jaspreet Bindra, who is the leading technical expert at Findability Sciences, author of the bestseller The Tech Whisperer and numerous articles on digital transformation, AI, and blockchain.
Karuna Gopal, the President of Foundation for Futuristic Cities, is yet another major AI expert from India who will talk about “AI in Government” during the business track.
TAIR Labs CEO Janet Sawari from South Africa will talk about the impact of AI on sustainability. Hammam Riza, president of KORIKA from Indonesia, will give a presentation called “Balancing Innovation and Responsibility: Navigating the Future of AI Regulation and Ethics in Indonesia.” Dedi Darwis, lecturer and dean of the Engineering and Computer Science Faculty at the Indonesian Institute of Technology, Indonesia, will talk about “AI-Powered Image Steganography for Secure Data Transmission in IoT Systems.”
