Dubai-Based Metaverse Pioneer Everdome Revolutionizes Access to the Metaverse with SPACES

Everdome, a prominent player in the UAE’s metaverse landscape, has unveiled SPACES, marking the debut release of their innovative Metaverse-as-a-Service product line. This groundbreaking development is aimed at democratizing the metaverse, making it more accessible to people from all walks of life.

In a recent report by McKinsey, it was revealed that nearly 60 percent of consumers actively using the early iterations of the metaverse are eager to integrate it into their everyday lives. Moreover, a staggering 95 percent of business leaders anticipate the metaverse will have a profoundly positive impact on their industries in the next five to ten years. However, despite the immense enthusiasm surrounding the metaverse, it remains a complex and challenging realm for many, with barriers to entry and comprehension greater than those seen with widely-used web2 applications.

Everdome is determined to address this issue with the introduction of SPACES, an application designed to provide users with easy-to-use, customizable, and engaging metaverse pop-up spaces that can be created in a matter of minutes. SPACES empowers users, even those with limited technical expertise, to swiftly craft metaverse experiences that can last for days, weeks, or even just a few hours as a metaverse pop-up space.

This product launch closely follows the release of Everdome’s Mars Landing experience, which marked the completion of their alpha layer-one immersive metaverse destination. This experience took users on a virtual journey from the Hatta Spaceport to a digital representation of a future Martian civilization.

Everdome’s approach combines the capabilities of Unreal Engine 5 with blockchain technology to provide easy-to-use metaverse templates that enable users to showcase images, videos, live streaming, and more. Invited guests can immerse themselves in this digital space, interact with avatars, and engage in a three-dimensional, interactive environment.

SPACES is developed as a stand-alone application separate from their hyper-realistic Mars metaverse environment, tackling the ongoing challenge of accessibility in metaverse development. It paves the way for a broader audience to take their first steps into the web3 world.

Jeremy Lopez, CEO of Everdome, is spearheading this initiative to expand metaverse engagement to a wider audience. He stated, “The metaverse is really just getting started. However, we need to provide people with a simple entry point so they can truly experience the differences between web2 and web3.”

SPACES will be initially released in alpha for Everdome’s community of landholders within their immersive metaverse experience. This marks just one facet of Everdome’s comprehensive Metaverse-as-a-Service product line, which encompasses user-friendly metaverse templates and custom developments for brands and businesses. These offerings will gradually roll out throughout Q3 2023 and Q1 2024.

Lopez emphasized, “Metaverse-as-a-Service is an incredibly exciting arena with immense growth potential. Our focus is on creating tools and products that break down barriers to entry, making the metaverse accessible to more people quickly.” Much like Software as a Service (SaaS) became a standard for web2 development, Everdome firmly believes that Metaverse-as-a-Service will play a similar role in web3, offering on-demand, cost-effective subscription-based access to easy metaverse development for individuals, brands, and businesses of all sizes. This approach is set to revolutionize how people engage with the metaverse, making it an integral part of everyday life.
