AI expert Professor Daniela Rus will discuss the complex considerations in integrating risk and behavior analysis into autonomous mobility, decision-making, and intelligent situation awareness to improve safety and predictability on the roads in the upcoming MBZUAI Talks webinar, entitled ‘The Role of AI in Revolutionizing the Autonomous Vehicles.’ The webinar will be held on November 3 at 6 pm UAE time.
Professor Rus, a member of the MBZUAI Board of Trustees and Director of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL), will host the session, which will be moderated by Dr. Behjat Al Yousuf, Executive Vice President for Outreach and Engagement. Professor Rus will discuss how new machine learning algorithms have enabled increased capabilities for autonomous vehicles.
