Leclerc’s exceptional display at Baku, where Ferrari had previously struggled to challenge for top grid positions in the 2023 season, has further solidified Chandhok’s conviction that the 25-year-old driver has surpassed the likes of Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton as the quickest driver in Formula 1 today.
Expressing his opinion during an interview with Sky Sports F1, Chandhok stated, “I genuinely think over one lap he is now the fastest driver in Formula 1.”
