If you’re one of the lucky individuals planning to buy the Rimac Nevera, the world’s fastest production car, and you live in Europe, there’s an exciting bonus coming your way. Rimac, the Croatian electric hypercar manufacturer, has entered into a new partnership with Ionity, one of Europe’s largest operators of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations, to offer a unique benefit to Nevera buyers.
Under this partnership, the first 150 buyers of the Rimac Nevera in Europe will enjoy a fantastic perk: eight years of unlimited and free charging at all Ionity stations across 24 European countries. This is an extraordinary offer for owners of this remarkable all-electric hypercar.
The Rimac Nevera, which is limited to just 150 units worldwide, is renowned for its incredible performance. It can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in under 1.85 seconds, making it the fastest car ever driven. It boasts a 120-kilowatt-hour battery pack, providing a range of up to 304 miles according to the WLTP cycle (or 287 miles according to the EPA in the United States).
Not only does the Rimac Nevera offer outstanding range and acceleration, but it also supports ultra-fast charging of up to 500 kilowatts. This means that with Ionity’s 350-kW Halo chargers, Nevera owners can recharge from 0 to 80 percent in just 25 minutes, providing exceptional convenience during long journeys.
Rimac founder and CEO, Mate Rimac, commented on this exciting partnership: “When people think of Rimac, they think of the record-breaking performance that the Nevera delivers, as well as the groundbreaking technologies at the heart of the company. Yet, the Nevera was primarily developed as a hyper GT, rather than a track-focused car – it is a user-friendly hypercar. The collaboration with Ionity allows us to take this experience to the next level.”
In addition to offering free access to its vast network of charging stations, Ionity has further committed to installing a charging station with six chargers at the Rimac Campus, which is currently under construction near Zagreb. This station will be accessible to the public and campus visitors 24/7, enhancing the charging infrastructure available in the area. Additional chargers will be added at a later date, following the initial launch scheduled for next year.
As a separate and unrelated announcement, Rimac is actively seeking to hire 50 employees for its paint shop at the Rimac Campus. Candidates will have the opportunity to join the existing team of 26 experts and will undergo a comprehensive training process to learn how to work with the Nevera’s carbon fibers. Positions are available in three different categories within the painting process: preparation, painting, and polishing.
For those fortunate enough to own a Rimac Nevera in Europe, this new partnership with Ionity offers not only incredible performance but also a hassle-free and cost-effective charging experience, making electric hypercar ownership even more attractive and convenient.
