Box has integrated OpenAI’s ChatGPT into its content cloud ecosystem to provide its customers with an AI-powered productivity tool. Box AI will enable users to unlock the value of their content by uncovering insights, answering questions, and creating content after assessing the context of a user’s drive. The AI productivity tool is set to launch with two key areas of focus: finding the right answers in existing content and creating new content.
According to Box CEO Aaron Levie, the company’s unique content combined with AI would make every person in the company smarter and more productive. He added that the tool’s initial launch would focus on financial statements, legal contracts, presentations, and policies that could be digested and reinterpreted by the AI productivity tool.
Box’s integration of ChatGPT into its ecosystem comes after several companies have expressed interest in AI technology, but few have successfully implemented it, especially in the cloud storage space. A company spokesperson told TechRadar Pro that pricing would be announced later and that initial access would be granted to select Box customers through an upcoming partner program. Users can sign up for the private beta on the company’s website.
