Audiomack’s built-in remix feature Audiomod has racked up 260 million fan-made plays from 30 million users since launching in February 2024, with usage growing 23% over the past year. The numbers reflect a broader shift in streaming: listeners increasingly want to create and tinker, not just consume.
Audiomod lets fans select from preset remix modes — think nightcore-style speed edits and pitch adjustments — and share their creations with other Audiomack users. It’s deliberately simple: no production skills required, just pick a track, twist some knobs, and share.

The bigger trend
The growth aligns with research from MIDiA, which found that nearly half of global consumers surveyed in 2025 either engage in music creation or plan to, and that almost one in four listeners aged 20-24 listen to remixes at least monthly. MIDiA calls it music’s “Instagram moment” — the shift from passive consumption to active participation.
Audiomack itself is riding the same wave. The platform recently surpassed 50 million monthly active users after 31% year-over-year growth in 2025, making it one of the faster-growing streaming services globally.
Why it matters
“Some platforms like to talk about how they are building more interactive features, but we’re already doing it,” says David Ponte, Audiomack’s co-founder and CMO. The company plans to expand with Audiomack Pro for Artists in 2026 while growing the Audiomod catalog as more rights holders opt in. In an industry where every platform is searching for differentiation beyond the same catalog of songs, giving fans tools to actually play with music — rather than just play it — could be a meaningful competitive edge.
Audiomack is a music streaming and discovery platform with over 50 million monthly users and more than 1 million active creators.
