As part of the reorganisation, a Rivian manufacturing executive exits

The modifications are taking place as the company begins to ramp up production of its popular R1T and R1S electric automobiles. In its most recent earnings call, the company stated that it delivered 1,227 vehicles to customers in the previous quarter and has produced approximately 5,000 vehicles. However, the company also stated that it had more than 90,000 reservations for the R1T and R1S vehicles, indicating that it still has a long way to go to meet demand. Rivian stated in April that it expects to create 25,000 automobiles in 2022, and the business has lofty long-term goals: CEO RJ Scaringe stated in November that Rivian wants to produce at least one million vehicles per year by 2030.
