One could argue that Apple is responding to market demand, as sales of the iPhone 14 Plus reportedly exceeded those of the iPhone 13 mini by 59%. Moreover, a significant 64% of all iPhone 14 sales were attributed to the Pro models, compared to just 11% for the Plus model, according to the same report.
Consequently, Apple may have concluded that while users favor larger phones over smaller ones, they also exhibit a preference for the Pro models over standard versions. The solution, then, seems to be increasing the size of the Pro iPhones. This approach aligns with the notion that if bigger phones are perceived as better, then better phones should be bigger.
