Acer Unveils SpatialLabs View Pro 27: A Glasses-Free 3D Canvas for Creative Professionals

Introducing the 27-inch 4K Monitor for 3D Design and Spatial Computing

Acer’s latest innovation, the SpatialLabs View Pro 27, is set to redefine the creative workspace for visual artists and digital professionals, offering a fully glasses-free 3D experience powered by cutting-edge spatial computing technology.

The SpatialLabs View Pro 27 is a 27-inch 4K monitor designed to be a “3D canvas” for the digital creative world. Acer aims to position this monitor as one of the premier choices for graphic designers and visual artists, empowering them to craft and produce 3D assets and collaborate on projects that revolve around three-dimensional design.

What sets this panel apart is its impressive specs. With a remarkable 160Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of 400 nits, and a Delta E color accuracy rating of less than two, this monitor promises an exceptional visual experience. To enhance color accuracy and eliminate distractions while working on 3D projects, Acer includes a detachable hood.

The SpatialLabs View Pro 27 also offers an array of apps and design software, including the SpatialLabs Model Viewer and Acer’s Steam VR bridge, enabling VR and XR developers to seamlessly transfer their creations to the 3D display.

Acer’s SpatialLabs Vision Pro 27 joins the ranks of 3D monitors, following Lenovo’s ThinkVision 27. Acer ensures that users can enjoy the 3D viewing experience in various lighting conditions, thanks to built-in technology that tracks the user’s eyes, even in dimly lit environments. To complement the visuals, the monitor incorporates the Acer Immersion Audio system, which leverages AI, beamforming, and head tracking to deliver a truly immersive spatial audio experience.

Ergonomics and flexibility are at the core of the device, featuring an ErgoStand design that’s compatible with VESA mounting. Users have the freedom to adjust tilt, swivel, pivot, and height to find the perfect viewing angle. Additionally, the monitor offers a range of connectivity options, including HDMI 2.1, USB-C, DisplayPort 2.0, and two USB-A ports.

While pricing details are not yet available, Lenovo’s similar monitor is priced at approximately $3,200 (based on its €2,999 inc VAT retail price), providing an estimate for Acer’s entry in the market. The SpatialLabs View Pro 27 is slated to launch in the first quarter of 2024, promising to revolutionize the way creative professionals work and design in three dimensions.
