Apple showcased its latest iPad Air at its “Peek Performance” presentation earlier this month, but omitted an upgraded iPad Pro. Gurman predicted last year that the iPad Pro would include wireless charging and a glass back. Although 9to5Mac confirms this claim, its sources indicate that Apple may have abandoned the glass back design in favour of an aluminium back with a glass Apple logo.
