Sony Mobile Communications AB (“Sony Mobile”) today announced the Middle East and Africa launch of the much-awaited Xperia C, a dual SIM Android smartphone designed to enhance your entertainment and imaging experience. The Xperia C will be available with leading retailers from the first week of November and will be priced at AED 1,199 in the UAE and SR 1,199 in KSA.

Created with Sony engineering expertise, this dual SIM smartphone offers a large 5” qHD display with a 540 x 960 pixel screen resolution for sharp, crisp and bright images.
Xperia C was created using the same expertise and components as leading Sony cameras. It comes with an 8 MP camera with Exmor R, which lets you take exceptional pictures, even in challenging light conditions. Xperia C also has a dedicated camera key that can shoot from a locked screen, and a fast-capture function that goes from sleep to snap in under one second. High Dynamic Range (HDR) for photos captures natural colours in any light or even against strong backlight.
The self-portrait engine takes pictures using the main camera and ensures that the picture quality is always excellent. The self-portrait function and intelligent voice-guide tell you where to stand so that your face is perfectly focused inside the frame. The portrait retouch makes beautiful images even more flawless.

The dual SIM cards are perfect when you want to separate work from play and handle your calls in a cost-efficient way. You switch between SIM cards anytime with a simple touch. Or, to switch automatically, just preset which SIM card to use at specific times of the day.
