It uses Microsoft Windows Phone 8.1 OS with a quad core 2.2 GHz Krait 400 processor. It has sensors like gyro, accelerator, proximity and compass. It uses HTML 5 web browser and is equipped with FM radio. It is not based on Java platform. It has some great other features like wireless charging, active noise cancellation, integrated with SNS, 7GB free SkyDrive storage, video and photo editor, document viewer, voice memo/ commands/ dial and predictive text input. It comes in 4 beautiful colours- bright green, bright orange, black and white.


It has a fantastic battery backup with a Li- Ion 2420 mAh battery with a stand by time of around 432 h. You can play up to 75 h of music and a talk time of up to 11h 30 minutes for 2G and 15 hours 30 min for 3G. It comes with WiFi ac/a/g/b/n, WiFi hotspot, Bluetooth v4.0 + LE( low energy), DLNA, NFC MicroUSB v2.0 apps like Nokia Beamer, Nokia photo beamer and Nokia play through which multimedia content can be displayed from any device or screen mirroring to large displays like compatible TVs. It is also compatible with wireless charging through ‘Qi’ standard.


The camera quality is excellent. Is comprises of 20 MP of camera with 6- element Carl Zeiss optics, autofocus and dual- LED flash. The camera features include 1/ 2.5” CMOS sensor size with PureView technology, geo- tagging, dual capture, panaroma and face detection. The video has a superb stereo sound recording and optical stabilization. The primary rear facing camera can be used for recording full HD 1080p videos at 30 frames per second. The front facing camera is of 1.2 MP which can shoot partial HD 720 p videos. There are numerous other applications which comes pre installed in Nokia 930 like Nokia camera, Nokia Refocus, Nokia Storyteller, Nokia Smart Camera and Nokia Cinemagraph. It comes with Nokia MixRadio, Xbox Video applications and Xbox Music already installed.


With AMOLED capacitive touchscreen, it has 16M colours. It comes in a 5.0 inches screen with multi touch facilities. It has a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection which reduces glass glare and is easy to clean and with a ClearBlack display enhancing the display quality. The screen has a very high resolution of 1920 X 1080 pixels making the screen ultra sharp at around 490 ppi. There are other screen enhancements from Nokia like sunlight readability mode, high- sensitivity mode, high- brightness mode and you can even adjust the display’s colour profile.


It has a dimension of 137 X 71X 9.8 mm, 94.7 cc. It weighs 167 g. The design of Lumia 930 is similar to the recently released Lumia 1520 and Lumia 2520. It comes in different colours and has a glossy finish to its body. The back cannot be removed and there are slots for SIM card and microSD card on the sides. It measures 9.8 mm thin.


No card slot; the internal memory is of 32 GB with 2 GB RAM.


It comes with alert types like vibrations, WAV ringtone and MP3. It has a 3.5 mm jack and comes with a loudspeaker. It has a Dolby Digital Plus sound enhancement.

Windows Lumia 930 is a great choice of prefer simplicity with features. Incorporated with so many mind blowing features, it stands a great hand set with a classy and elegant slim design.
