Meaning – The term hands-on, refers to the process of gaining physical access to a particular device or machine. When it comes to operating a machine or a gadget, there two practices that are prevalent in the market today.
- The first approach is a theoretical one, where the individual studies everything about the machine, its various components and its working, along with applications and pros and cons.
- A second approach is a hands-on approach, wherein the individual physically uses the machine or device and gets a deeper and more in-depth understanding of how the device works and operates.
Example of usage – “The company released their new device and offered samples to select users to get a more hands-on look and feel of the device, in order to get their honest opinions.”
