It is becoming increasingly apparent that mobile gaming and online casinos are here for the long haul. It is now common to find several promotional gaming offers during just one scroll of your newsfeed on Twitter or Facebook, so it is crucial that these mobile casinos have incredibly smooth and rounded technology to offer their customers, given that promotions are all but thrust directly into our face these days. The reality is though, that once you start playing on your mobile or tablet device you are engrossed by the fluidity of the gameplay. This is down to one software company, who are slowly but surely earning recognition as innovators in the industry, Playtech.
Founded in 1999, Playtech have worked their way up the ranks by providing the most up-to date, refined software in the mobile industry and they were duly rewarded last month, when they won the ‘Best Online Bingo Software’ award at the 2014 WhichBingo Awards. Not only this, but Playtech designed five of the seven online games listed in the ‘Online Game of the Year’ category, whilst also contributing eleven of the 35 bingo brands that were shortlisted for the ‘Site of the Year’ awards, leaving little doubt about the market’s opinion on the software they provide.
Playtech, and its subsidiary Virtue Fusion, provide technology to a whole host of bingo sites, such as the Winner Bingo site and William Hill, which speaks volumes as to their standing not just within the aforementioned market, but with casino owners too.
This is in no small part down to Virtue Fusion’s recently released mobile bingo interface, which is based on HTML5 technology, for tablet users, in response to a growing demand from users for a replica experience of the type they receive when playing on desktop browsers, with the outcome being state-of-the-art game quality, chat functionality and side games, regardless of your device’s size.
Versions of the interface will appear on both the native iOS and Android versions of the devices shortly, but there is truly no hurry, as the new interface’s performance on the tablet is showing that hard, consistent work is truly paying off for not only Playtech and its subsidiary, but for gamers as well.
Given that the interface update just months before the 2014 WhichBingo Awards, we can only imagine what the software and technology company will have to offer by the time 2015 rolls around and they have to defend their reign as the best provider of online bingo software.
