How to restore a Whatsapp Backup

Uninstall and then reinstall the Whatsapp Messenger app on your smartphone.

Go through the setup process and verify your registered mobile number.

 

 

You will now see the option to restore your Whatsapp account from a backup.

 

 

Tap on the restore button to begin restoring your messages and media via the saved backup file.

 

 

After the restore process is complete, tap on the ‘Next’ button.

 

 

You will now see all the messages restored to the new installation of Whatsapp.

Once the messages are restored, you can start using the Messenger as usual while the media will begin restoration after the MEssage restore process.
